Founder Yu Tze Man Biography
Hong Kong is a poor area during then 50’s but it still have chance for people with dream.
The founder of Chi Li Plastic Company Limited is one of the typical successful industrial in Hong Kong.
This is a story of Hong Kong.
Mr. Yu was born in China before WWII, China was poor and unstable after the war. Mr. Yu raise in this hard environment and led him become a man with the spirit of desperateness and never give up.
During late 1950s, he came to British ruled Hong Kong from mainland China. He has been involved in the plastics industry since the 1960s. He engaged as a factory worker and has worked hard for many years. It is because of his diligence and responsibility as well as his leadership ability. He had promoted to the factory management eventually.
Regretfully his employer was disappear unexpectedly. Order taken were chase by the customers and young Mr. Yu pick up the responsibility to fulfill the contract terms. He manages the production under short of resources. Customers admitted his ability and begin to transfer orders to him and led him establish his own business.
Plastics industry developed rapidly in Hong Kong during early 1970s. Mr. Yu founded his own business in 1977 with just one machine. With the help of Mrs. Yu and their daughter, he set up his prototype home factory.
Mr. Yu was faithful and helpful person. With the help of his friend, Mr. Yu awarded an order of ten set of plastic mold production which he can settle the payment when he is able to pay. It shows that he had earned the respect and trust by his friends.
Business was going steady and from a small processing workshop to plastic products factory. He brought his own properties in Hong Kong for offices as well as production workshop.
In 1989, the production line was moved to mainland China and the factory was expanded. There were more than 300 workers at the peak time.
Because of his unremitting efforts to focus on plastic injection molding and mold making, his strict requirement led him become the leader of the industry and the acceptance from customers !
Unfortunately, in February 1993, he died of a traffic accident on his way home. The business was then taken over by his two daughters. They continued their efforts in the spirit of their father !
Mr. Yu’s life is in dire straits, and his wife and nine children are constantly working hard to improve their family life. He is faithful to his friends. He is not only a successful businessman, but also a good father !
His love and care for his family are deeply rooted in the hearts of his wife and children with unlimited thoughts !
Regarding to his life philosophy, we can easily find the word “Happy” in his products. It shows that he always want to share happy to the world ! Bless everyone “happy together”

創辦人余子猛先生生平
五、六十年代的香港到處貧窮，但生機蓬勃，衹要有夢想，肯刻苦耐勞、有思考，夢想就成真！
“捷利塑膠有限公司” 創辦人余子猛先生就是典型成功的香港實業家。
這是一個香港的故事。
余子猛先生出生於第二次世界大戰前一個內憂外患的中國，戰後社會動盪，民不聊生，他就在這惡劣環境中成長，造就他有不屈不撓的拼搏精神！
五十年代後期，他由大陸申請到英治時期的香港，他年青從六十年代中業已投身塑膠行業，從工人階層做起，經過多年刻苦耐勞的歷練，由於，他的勤奮、責任心、領導力，最終擢升為廠長管理階層。
遺憾的其僱主突然失蹤， 已落訂單的客户不停追交貨品， 年青小伙子的他承擔了僱主對客户履行的合約責任，在極少資源下完成貨品， 該洋行老闆見到他的能幹、有承擔，以後訂單轉給他生產，就孕育了自家公司的成立。
七十年代初的香港，塑膠業迅速發展，因此，於一九七七年他自立門戶，由一部塑膠製品機器開始，以家庭作業形式成立自家塑膠加工廠的雛形，期間其妻子及年幼的長女們也協助生計。
由於，他為人樂於助人、重情義，在友人相助下，先為他做了十套塑膠製品用的工模，還表明有能力之後才付工模費用，可見得他贏得朋友的信任、尊重！
而事業步向穩健，由小型加工廠一躍成為塑膠製品工廠，並在香港自置物業，有自家的辦公室、工場。
他努力不懈地專注塑膠注塑及模具製作，對其製品有嚴謹要求，成為業界的表表者，為業界及客戶推祟！
於1993年他因駕車回家途中發生交通意外離世，其後，由長女、次女接手經營，她們秉承其父的職人精神，繼續打拼！
余子猛先生的生平，都在困境中迎難而上，為妻子、九名子女不斷拼勁改善家人生活，對朋友重情重義，他不單是成功商人，還是一位好父親！
他的人生哲學，可在其製品中常常出現”Happy”字牌，它流露出一點端兒__就是快樂！好讓他的”Happy”傳送世界每一角落，祝福人人”happy together “
